This vintage Artichoke lamp is a very early edition and has an incredibly beautiful patina.
Designed for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen
The 72 meticulously placed brushed stainless steel leaves form 12 unique rows of six leaves that were completely fixed by hand.
They illuminate the fixture and emit diffused light with a unique pattern.
This is a rare early edition from the 60s.
Spicy anecdote: the PH Artichoke unfortunately also attracted thieves. A few years ago, in 2009, a burglary in the Langelinie Pavilion restaurant was launched with five original luminaires. Fortunately, the police succeeded in tracing the stolen designs via Ebay and bringing them back to their homes. This is your chance to get a unique original copy! WOW!!
