Set of six brutalist dining room chairs with a tough and robust chromed metal frame. The seats are finished in stretched saddle leather.
The chairs are in exceptionally beautiful condition, with a beautiful patina on the leather. The chairs were maniacally maintained by the previous owner, who owned them for more than 40 years.
None other than architect Ivan Van Mossevelde used the chairs in his brutalist interiors in the mid-1970s.
The chairs are manufactured by Sigma Furniture Belgium, Deinze 1976 under the direction of Rufin Dedoncker.
VERY EXCEPTIONAL AND EXTREMELY RARE SET.
