The chair that everyone has seen before.
The butterfly chair was designed in 1938 by the Argentinian designer Jorge Ferrari Hardoy.
During that period, JF Hardoy was an assistant in the studio of the designer and architect par excellence, namely
Le Corbusier.
The butterfly chair received the award for "one of the best efforts in modern design". Due to its pure design and elegant, graceful appearance, this chair became a true design classic.
The combination of the stainless steel frame and the white cover makes the chair very minimalist & cozy. A real eye-catcher for your interior or outdoor environment.
The stainless steel frame and easily removable covers make the chair ideal for outdoor use. Because the cover does not touch the metal frame when in use, the butterfly chair adapts to any body shape.
The covers of the butterfly chair are easy to change, so you can order other types in leather, animal skins, etc. etc. and you can quickly make another chair for a different setting and all on the same frame.
This side chair is extremely comfortable & a top icon.
Manufactured by Plux.
The cover is UV-resistant and mold-free, resistant to sea and swimming pool water and retains its color and suppleness. Specially designed for outdoor use.
The frame is made of stainless steel (SS 316L), which is also used for sailing and pleasure boats.
