The Cobra table lamp is an iconic example of Italian design from the 1960s , designed by Harvey Guzzini, the pseudonym of designer Luigi Massoni, in collaboration with the Guzzini brothers. The brand was known at the time for its progressive designs and the use of innovative materials such as plastic and metal.
The name “Cobra” refers to the curved, organic shape of the lamp, which is reminiscent of the graceful neck of a rising cobra .
The light is distributed in an attractive way and provides a warm, diffuse glow – ideal for a side table, bedside table or desk.
This version is an early edition, but is in excellent condition.
