The Knoll Studio Saarinen Conference Chair is an iconic design by Eero Saarinen.
In the early 1940s, Saarinen collaborated with Charles and Ray Eames on experiments with bent veneer, which further fueled his interest in shaping different materials. Between 1946 and 1950, he developed and perfected the Conference chair, an elegant and refined chair.
The chair is characterised by a plywood seat and a curved backrest made of moulded polyurethane, supported by a sturdy four-legged oak base.
The Saarinen Conference chair is a very comfortable chair.
The chairs are in excellent condition and come from the first owner. It concerns a more recent production, executed in a beautiful suede fabric.
The chairs are only a few years old and were used in an outdoor area, so the chairs are as good as new!
A beautiful set of six Conference Chairs!
