Frattini won numerous prestigious awards and distinctions for his work. In 1956 he co-founded the ADI (Association of Industrial Design), where he played an active role for many years. He was a regular guest at international fairs and congresses, where his designs were admired worldwide and he contributed to the evolution of modern industrial design.
