Michel Cadestin took part in the important design competition for which chair would be used in the Center Pompidou, Jean Prouvé, who was head of the design committee, chose this chair as the winning model and thus became part of the permanent furniture of the Center Pompidou.
These chairs have never been commercialized and were made specifically for the Center Pompidou.
The chairs are made of galvanized steel wire with a natural saddle leather seat.
These are museum pieces and real collector's items, the chance of seeing them somewhere is very small. The chance of being able to buy these is even smaller!
