The Tulip Chair was designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International.
Saarinen was bothered by a jumble of legs that could always be seen under a dining table and decided to design a chair that consisted of 1 whole and only showed 1 leg.
It became a very successful design with the general public & is now considered a true icon.
This exceptional set dates from the 1970s and is therefore no less than 50 years old.
THE Knoll tulip chair is still one of the best-selling design chairs.
The foot is known for its flowing shape & is a model of 1950s modernism.
The chair leg is made of cast aluminum.
It is a true timeless classic and unique in its shape.
The tulip chair creates simplicity in the interior & has a warm and cozy appearance due to its shape.
These Knoll Tulip chairs are also in beautiful vintage condition and are rotatable! The chairs are marked with the Knoll international emblem!
