The Tulip Chair was designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International.
Saarinen was annoyed by a tangle of legs that could always be seen under a dining table and decided to design a chair that consisted of 1 whole and only showed 1 leg.
It became a very successful design with the general public & is now considered a true icon.
After more than 50 years, this chair is still one of the best-selling designer chairs.
The base is known for its fluid shape & is an example of modernism from the 50s.
The chair leg is made of cast aluminum.
The set consisting of 5 tulip swivel armchairs and 2 poufs are in beautiful condition, without damage!
It is a real timeless classic and unique in its shape.
The tulip chair creates simplicity in the interior & its shape gives it a warm and cozy appearance.
