Extremely rare and playful 'Kono' coffee table designed by Lela and Massino Vignelli and manufactured by Casigliani in Italy in the late 1970s.

The table was designed in July 1979 during a meeting between Massimo Vignelli and Casigliani in his New York City studio. It is said that Casigliani had the table produced the following week on his return to Italy, and that Massimo Vignelli approved the first prototype and photos in less than two weeks after the first draft.

The table has a playful design with geometric shapes and a beautiful combination of different materials. The black rectangular marble part provides stability to the sides, the green copper cone to provide support at the end and a thick glass top to keep it all in balance.
