The Tulip stools were designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International in the 1950s.
Saarinen was disturbed by a tangle of legs that could always be seen under a dining table and decided to design a chair that consisted of 1 whole and only showed 1 leg.
It became a very successful design with the general public & is now considered a true icon.
The poufs are rarely for sale on the market, and are ideal to place separately in the interior and thus create extra seating at the dining table if necessary.
The foot is known for its flowing shape & is an example of modernism from the 1950s.
The chair leg is made of cast aluminum and the cushions are still in the original Knoll upholstery.
These stools were rarely used and are in TOP CONDITION, and come from the first owner.
The Knoll poufs date from the 90s.
