The Panton Chair is a true design classic.
The chair was designed in 1959 by Verner Panton and further developed for serial production in 1967 in collaboration with Vitra. It was the first chair to be made entirely from one piece of plastic and is characterized by its airy and round shapes and cheerful design.
Today one of the first copies is in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Panton Chair is a true classic of modern furniture design!
These Panton chairs are from the early production and manufactured in 1976 by Herman Miller Fehlbaum and are made of fiberglass. Not in plastic like today's cheaper models.
This set is only for the vintage enthusiast.
Very nice authentic set of 5 pieces.
