This modernist floor lamp in marble and chrome dates from the 1970s.
The rectangular chrome frame is deliberately asymmetrical in relation to the white marble plinth that supports it, and is surmounted by a large fabric lampshade.
Banci Firenze was founded in 1899 by Giuseppe Banci in the historic center of Florence, Italy. Initially starting as glassblowers, the company soon began restoring chandeliers in crystal and glass for the antique dealers of the city's Santo Spirito district .
And today, Banci Firenze still has a very classic and rich collection of crystal and gilded chandeliers and a very modern lamp collection that combines marble, steel and craftsmanship.
What was only 120 years ago a traditional laboratory for the restoration of chandeliers in iron, crystal and glass, has become, after 4 generations, the absolute reference in the world of luxury, the prestigious Italian signature in the field of decorative lighting, both classic and contemporary and very modern.
