This beautiful desk rests on two cylinders and has a luxurious lacquer finish in an aluminium look, combined with a stylish and patinated black top.
A refined piece that fits perfectly into both a modern office and a contemporary living space. The clever design allows cables to be neatly hidden away, so that they are not visible and the desk retains a clean and tidy appearance.
Jo Crepain graduated as an architect from the Henry van de Velde Institute in Antwerp. He lived most of his life in Kapellen and worked as a teacher at the Academy of Ghent, the Academy of Architecture in Rotterdam and the Henry van de Velde Institute in Antwerp.
Jo Crepain won several prizes during his career, the most notable of which was the Premio internazionale di architettura Andrea Palladio (1988).
Sadly, Jo Crepain passed away on December 20, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. His legacy lives on in his timeless designs and the many architects he inspired.
This elegant desk reflects Crepain's signature style: minimalist, functional, yet undeniably stylish. Its sleek design and high-quality finish make it a unique piece of furniture that will add a touch of sophistication to any workspace. A must-have for lovers of modern design and a tribute to one of the great Belgian architects of the past decades.
Beautiful, elegant and extremely rare desk.
