Elda chair by Joe Colombo for Comfort 1960's

Never again argue about who gets to sit in the lounge chair! Because we have a set.
These two identical ELDA chairs are beautiful as a pair and have never been separated. As a result, they have the same patina and identical color of both the shells and the leather.

The chairs date from the 70s and are still completely original. The shells are in very good vintage condition.

The chair is incredibly comfortable thanks to the 7 supportive cushions, rotating base and generous proportions.

This iconic design chair, designed by Joe Colombo for Comfort in 1963, bears the name Elda in honor of his wife. The design is a masterpiece from Colombo's short but brilliant career. Inspired by shipbuilding technology, the Elda chair was groundbreaking: the first chair ever with a completely self-supporting fiberglass frame.

The Elda chair has a beautiful patina from over the years.
