This iconic design, based on the revolutionary three-shade system developed by Henningsen in the 1920s, offers a unique combination of aesthetics, functionality and atmosphere.

The fixture is constructed of mouth-blown opal glass, shiny on the outside and matt sandblasted on the inside, which provides a soft, diffuse light without glare. The hood diameter of 45 cm in combination with the chromed metal stand and base give the lamp a sturdy, yet airy appearance.

Henningsen's design is based on the logarithmic spiral, which distributes the light evenly across the shades. His scientific approach to lighting resulted in a lamp that is both technically and visually balanced.

Thanks to the unique hood design and the use of opal glass, the light is beautifully diffused without harsh shadows or glare. This makes the lamp not only an aesthetic statement, but also an exceptionally functional lighting object.
