This iconic design chair was designed by Joe Colombo with a view to creating top comfort & unique design in 1963.
The seat was named after his wife Elda.
The shell of the seat is bent so that the seat creates a huge cocoon feeling.
It is made of fiberglass and rotates 360 °.
The Elda chair is regularly used in films such as:
- The hunger games (2012)
- The illustrated man (1969)
- James bond movies (1977)
He can also be seen at the Museum of Modern Arts in New York & the Louvre in Paris.
