This beautiful suitcase was purchased in New York in 1926.
The store B. Altman and Company on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 34th Street, not far away from the Empire State Building, opened its doors in 1865.

In this store the Americans were able to meet the French Louis Vuitton for the first time.

B. Altman and Company later sold his stores to the Gucci family.

This suitcase is in sublime condition, and can easily be used as a coffee table or simply as a top decoration piece in the interior.
