Highboard by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, 1958

Rare high sideboard designed by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform in 1958. Especially for the world exhibition expo58.

This unique piece of furniture is a real eye-catcher and made of beautiful "Bubinga" wood with a beautiful drawing. Bubinga is an exclusive African rosewood type.

The ivory sliding doors provide a playful character and modern touch to the design. Bought by the first owner in the early 60s.

The high sideboard rests on an elegant black lacquered frame with an architectural shape. This high piece of furniture by Alfred Hendrickx is hard to find. Inside there is plenty of storage space due to the various shelves that are adjustable in height as well as various beautifully finished inner drawers.

And what's more, the furniture has a built-in bar with a beautiful hinged door and glass shelves.

The cabinet is in a sublimely good condition. Maniacally maintained by the first and only owners.
