The Tulip Chair was designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International.
Saarinen was disturbed by a jumble of legs that were always visible under a dining table and decided to design a chair that consisted of 1 whole and only 1 leg.
It became a very successful design with the general public & is now considered a true icon.
After more than 50 years, this chair is still one of the best-selling designer chairs.
The foot is known for its flowing shape & is a model of modernism from the 50s.
The chair leg is made of cast aluminum.
The seats of the seats are fully upholstered and are in beautiful condition, without damage!
This is the most luxurious and comfortable version that can be ordered from Knoll.
A new chair costs more than € 3000 already.
Thanks to the upholstered shell & armrests, this chair offers extremely good comfort.
The seats are marked "Knoll International".
It is a true timeless classic and unique in its form.
The tulip chair creates simplicity in the interior and has a warm and cozy appearance due to its shape.
