Designed specifically as a reading luminaire, Idomeneo consisted of two adjustable reflectors shielded at the front by a painted aluminum disc that was tilted and rotated differently. The base consisted of a half outline, to be placed against the wall.
The spots were alternately equipped with two incandescent or halogen lamps. Idomeneo was equipped with a double independent ignition directly on the cable that carried the power to the two reflectors.
In the photos from that time it was mainly used as a reading lamp above the bed. This way you each had your own switched reading lamp. without them being visible.
